Gellan Gum Project Introduction
Fermentation: Fermentation works on the qualified glucose to change the glucose into the desired material. The cultivated seed is used for fermentation. The process maintains the required nutrients and suitable temperature.
Filtration: Filtration remove the mycelium protein and insoluble particles from the fermentation liquid. Then the liquid reaches a high purity level and moves to the next section for concentration.
Concentration: Evaporator concentrates the filtered fermented mash to get desired DE value. After fermentation, the mash reaches to desired DE value.
Mixing & separation: To adequately precipitate the fiber, a specified amount of solvent is added to the concentrated fermentative mash, which is well mixed by stirring. After separation and precipitation, the fiber product is obtained.
Secondary washing and separation: The Gellan gum has pigment and impurities. The secondary washing and separation remove the pigment and impurities. Then the qualified Gellan gum was obtained.
Dehydration and drying: The squeezer is used to dehydrate the Gellan gum. Then the Gellan gum is dried by the drier. After drying, the qualified Gellan gum product was obtained.
