Sorbitol Project Introduction
The dissolving tank is used to dissolve commercial starch, which is added and mixed with water. Before entering the automatic liquefaction system, the starch milk is detected online and controlled in the slurry mixing tank to correct for DS, PH value, and enzyme amount. Use twice as much ejection and flashing, keep the temperature right, wait a certain period, and use two times as much heat to get the best liquefaction result. PH is adjusted, enzymes are added, and the syrup is liquefied and sent to the saccharification machine. After reaching the DE or DX value required by the final product by modifying the amount of enzyme and saccharification, the syrup enters the filtration process to remove the less protein and other impurities incorporated in the product. Following filtration, the liquid syrup undergoes decolorization, filtering, and a continuous ion exchange system to remove colored impurities and impurity ions, enabling the syrup to fulfill its refining and purifying objectives. After being concentrated by the evaporator, it enters the high-pressure hydrogenation reactor for the hydrogenation reaction. A small amount of the nickel catalyst added to the sorbitol solution is filtered after the reaction is finished and used again. Decolorization, filtration, and a continuous ion exchange system are used to remove contaminants and ions from the sorbitol solution so that it can fulfill its refining and purifying objectives. After concentration using an evaporator, the appropriate sorbitol was achieved.
