Crystalline Fructose Project Introduction

Starch milk adjustment: The DS=28-32%, PH, and temperature of starch milk from the starch workshop are adjusted. Alternately, combine dry starch and water, then make adjustments to obtain the aforementioned conditions in the next section.


Liquefaction: With the use of a liquefaction enzyme and a jet cooker, starch milk is liquefied. For the best liquefaction effect, two ejections are required. The material is transported to the next section after cooling in the flash tank following liquefaction.


saccharification: The saccharification tank receives the liquefied syrup. An enzyme is used to complete the process. The target DE value is attained following a specific amount of reaction time. After cooling in the flash tank, the glucose is subsequently delivered to the subsequent stage.


Filtration and decolorization: Enter the decolorization filtering system after taking the filter to filter out the protein and other contaminants from the glucose. Activated carbon must be used for decolorization at the proper temperature. The filter will eliminate the activated carbon after decolorization. The following stage receives the filtered glucose.


Continuous ion exchange: To obtain pure and high-quality glucose, the glucose enters a continuous ion exchange system where the impurity ions are separated from the mixed impurity ions in the glucose using cation and anion resin.


Evaporation: The safety filter is used to filter the glucose before it is supplied into the evaporator system for concentration to reach the appropriate DS value.


Isomerization: The qualifying glucose is adjusted to the proper DS value, PH value, etc. before entering the isomerization system. Isomerization of glucose to 42% fructose occurs as a result of isomerase's action.


Decolorization/filtration: The decolorization and filtering system receives the 42% fructose. Activated carbon must be used for decolorization at the proper temperature. The filter will eliminate the activated carbon after decolorization. The subsequent section receives the filtered 42% fructose.


Continuous ion exchange: To obtain pure and high-quality 42% fructose, the 42% fructose is put into a continuous ion exchange system where mixed impurity ions are removed using cation and anion resin.


Evaporation: To get the appropriate DS value for the following part, the refined 42% fructose is fed into the evaporator system after being filtered through the safety filter.


Chromatography separation: The chromatographic separation system receives the qualified 42% fructose. Fructose and glucose are recovered with high purity following separation. The fructose with a high purity is moved on to the next stage. The previously produced glucose is combined with the separated glucose for additional processing.


Evaporation: To obtain the appropriate DS value for the following section, the high purity fructose is added to the evaporator system for concentration.


Crystallization: The apparatus for crystallizing fructose is given concentrated, high-purity fructose. The fructose crystal will be sent to the separation section when the proper amount of time has passed and the cooling process has been carried out in accordance with the cooling curve.


Separation: The high speed centrifugation separates the mother liquid from the crystal. The dried fructose crystals are delivered to the drying area after being successfully separated.


Drying: Drying the fructose crystals in a drum dryer yields a high-quality crystalline fructose product.
